Charles M. Johnson
Intensive Residential Services Division Director

Charles M. Johnson joined The Association For Community Living in 1979. He was promoted to the Division Director of Intensive Residential Services in September, 2011. He began his career at The Association as a direct care worker when the first of the current Intensive Residential Services programs opened on Plumtree Road in Springfield in 1979. He has been involved with the growth of the program to its current six locations serving 35 individuals in several different capacities throughout the following years.

Charlie received his degree in psychology from Brown University. He began working in Human Services in 1978 and joined The Association soon afterward.

In his roles at The Association over the past 30 years, Charlie has used his strengths in computer systems and records keeping systems design to create, implement and maintain databases used throughout Intensive Residential Services.
