Priorities for Giving
Fore more than thirty years, The Association has been helping Paul Tardiff's son Stephen meet his daily challenges and victories with dignity, humor, and affection and 'round-the-clock' support.

Why Give
Relationships enrich our existence. The Association for Community Living creates opportunities that build relationships.

The Association is a recognized leader in consistently providing innovative, quality programs meeting a broad range of human needs for those with developmental disabilities.

The innovative programs provided by our caregivers help these individuals, so that they can live, learn, work, and enjoy healthy relationships in their communities.

For those families who love them, we offer support, and create opportunities for them to gain understanding, reassurance, confidence, and the knowledge that every one of us is totally committed to their well-being and the well being of their loved ones.

These enhanced services are possible because of community support from people like you!

The Association continues to grow and create new opportunities thanks to the vision of our founders.

Over half century ago, five young courageous mothers, were determined to find ways to help their children with mental retardation discover their unique potential and become a part of their community. This determination led to the creation of The Association For Community Living.

Today, we are privileged to serve 1,648 individuals and 1,283 families in 89 cities and towns throughout Western Massachusetts and northern Worcester County.

Help us create even more opportunities through your contribution, today!

Basic needs like shelter and medical care are funded by government sources. The Association offers support and services to families that go well beyond government standards.

Through community support, we are able to add richness and independence to the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities and support their families.
