Make Your Gift By December 30 to enjoy important tax benefits in 2011.

December is always a flurry of activity, and in the midst of it all, it is also a wonderful season of giving. If this spirit has inspired you to give  to The Caring Force, don't forget to complete your donation before the New Year’s Eve celebrations begin.

It is also important for our donors aged 70 1/2 and older to consider making an End of Year gift in the form of a Qualified Charitable Distribution (a QCD).  A QCD is a non-taxable distribution made directly from the donor’s IRA to The Association (or to any IRS-approved charity).

We have until the end of the year to claim any contributions as a 2011 tax deduction, and since those who give can save a considerable amount when it's tax-filing time, now's the best time to give to The Caring Force.
